Couscous    

A Moroccon item

Very common in North African countries – Algeria-Morroco – Turkey-also pick
up by French –Spanish & American


Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 pounds white mushrooms
  • 1-1/2 cups couscous
  • 1-pound Fresh tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1-1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning – Cumin powder-green chili-red chili
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 pinches cayenne pepper

How to make

  • Cut all vegetables keep in side – keep diced tomato seaprate
  • Take Couscous in Glass bowel – touch hand with olive oil-Boil water put in with
    couscous-live for 10 Minuets
  • Take large pan-Pour some oil-heat it add onion and garlic-stir –make stove
    simmer-add vegetables-stir –cover it for 3 minutes – add diced tomato
  • Add all spices – stir – then add couscous –stir –and cover-sprinkle cilantro over
    and serve.
